A Dancer, Social Activist and Leader.
Hello, I am currently pursuing my education at Mayo College Girls’ School, I have excelled academically with a strong foundation in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Psychology. My commitment to learning extends beyond the classroom, as evidenced by my involvement in research, leadership roles, and extracurricular activities.
I have presented research papers on innovative teaching methods at international conferences, served as a House Captain, and led initiatives like the Eureka Mathematics Magazine and the Folk and Western Dance Club.
I am also deeply committed to giving back to my community through initiatives like fundraising, communal education, public health education, and my passion project "Small Steps".
I also have a keen interest in dance and have been learning the art since the age of 4, and consider the stage to be my comfort space.
With a proven track record of leadership, academic excellence, and community service, I am eager to contribute my skills and knowledge to meaningful projects and opportunities in the future.

Small Steps
As Vice-Captain and later Captain, I saw the struggles of students, especially those from small towns in our boarding school. I realized that small steps could make a big impact, so I launched the "Small Steps" initiative.
Small Steps is all about empowering girls facing challenges.
We focus on four key areas:
1. Language Skills: We teach them basic English for effective communication.
2. Soft Skills: We help them develop essential skills like communication, teamwork, and relationships.
3. Tech Skills: In today's digital world, we make sure they can navigate technology with confidence.
4. Etiquette: We stress the importance of manners and proper behavior.

Dance
At age 4, I conquered stage fright and found my sanctuary under the stage lights. As President of the Western and Folk Dance Society, I lead by teaching 100 young dancers and choreographing routines.
Guiding budding talents fills me with joy, and crafting mesmerizing dance routines has honed my creativity and leadership. From a timid performer to a confident leader, my dance journey has taught me perseverance and the power of passion. My commitment to dance and nurturing future talents is a lifelong mission, with the rhythm of the stage forever in my heart.
Investigative Studies
I represented my school at the International Mathematics Education and Research Conference. I presented my paper -"Using Technology To Teach Mathematics" to a diverse audience, including Ph.D. students and mathematicians from different countries.
I actively participated in workshops and collaborated with professors, exploring topics like ethnomathematics and the practical applications of calculus in our changing world.
The highlight was Dr. Miriam Amit's talk on 'Ethnomathematics.' Learning how different cultures measure distance using unique methods fascinated me. I shared this knowledge with my schoolmates by teaching them math concepts using cultural examples like songs and food. It was a small effort that sparked a passion for math and its connection to our world.

LEADERSHIP
In the academic year 2023-24, I had the privilege of serving as the Captain of Meera House, leading a vibrant and diverse group of 105 students.
This role marked a culmination of my journey from being a Vice-Captain, and it allowed me to put my leadership skills to the test in a dynamic and impactful way.
